As a Cision client you may receive influencer contact details and other personal information from Cision (including via TrendKite – a Cision platform) and may then use those details to contact influencers. 

To ensure that appropriate privacy information is made available to influencers, you must ensure that Cision is identified as a source of influencer personal data in your publicly facing privacy policy and also provide a link to Cision’s privacy portal at;

When using any of Cision’s platforms you must also ensure that you comply with all applicable laws and regulations, in particular those relating to e-mail spam, privacy and data protection including but not limited a) the EU Privacy and Electronic Communications Directive (2002/58/EC) as transposed into domestic legislation of each EU member state as amended, replaced or superseded from time to time; b) the EU General Data Protection Regulation ((EU) 2016/679) (GDPR); and c) to the extent applicable, the privacy laws of any other country outside of the EEA.
